MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - A pair of high scoring contests kicked the United East Baseball Championship off on Monday afternoon as the top two seeds both came away with victories. Top-seeded Penn State Harrisburg defeated No. 4 Penn College, 18-4, in the first game of the day. No. 2 Penn State Abington then took care of No. 3 Lancaster Bible College in the second game of the twinbill.
The Chargers and Wildcats will now meet in the first game on Tuesday, with the loser facing elimination. That contest will start at 9 a.m.
Harrisburg and Abington will then square off in the day’s second contest, which will take place at 12 p.m. The final tilt will then come at 3:30 PM as the winner from game one will take on the loser from game two.
