LATHAM, N.Y. - A trio of United East baseball players collected All-America honors as released by D3baseball.com this week. Two of those players also picked up All-America nods from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as well. Andy Rivas (Keystone College) earned Second Team All-American honors from D3baseball and Third Team honors from ABCA. Cole Tarleton (St. Mary’s College of Maryland) was placed on the the D3baseball Fourth Team and Blaine Waltimyer (Penn State Harrisburg) was named to the ABCA Fourth Team and the Fifth Team from D3baseball.

Rivas dominated from the plate all season, helping his Keystone squad earn their second-straight United East title and 20th-straight conference title. The catcher finished the year with a batting average of .441, the 14th-best in all of Division III. His slugging percentage bettered that as he posted the 10th-best in the country at .838. That translated into 62 RBI (14th most in Division III) and 13 dingers (most in the UEC). One of his best performances of the season came in the NCAA Championship as his 2-for-4 with four RBI helped carve out a win against Penn State Behrend.

Rivas earned plenty of accolades for his 2025 output, including D3baseball Region IV Player of the Year, First Team All-Region on both D3baseball and ABCA, First Team All-Conference and a one time United East Player of the Week.

Tarleton capped off his career in a Seahawk uniform with his best season to date. The outfielder led the league and ranked 11th in the country with a batting average of .444. He had a knack for getting on base as his .574 on-base percentage was the third highest in all of Division III. Tarleton knocked five triples, 11 doubles and six homers, leading to the ninth-best slugging percentage in the nation (.838). One of his best outings came in a late-season win over Penn State Abington as he went 4-for-4 with five RBI.

The Hollywood, Md. native would be tabbed the United East Player of the Year while also receiving D3baseball First Team All-region and First Team All-Conference honors.

A breakout season for Waltimyer, the Lion nearly doubled his statistics in his junior year. The outfielder racked up 74 hits with a batting average of .394 (second and 13th in the UEC, respectively). He’d pile up the third-most doubles in Division III (24) while also registering the sixth-most runs scored (68). Waltimyer wasn’t just scoring, he was also driving in runs as his 47 RBI ranked fourth in the league. Perhaps his best outing came in a conference victory of St. Mary’s College as he went 3-for-4 with four RBI.

Waltimyer was a First Team All-Region selection by both D3baseball.com as well as ABCA. He found his way onto the United East All-Conference First Team as well.
