LATHAM, N.Y. - Two sets of Division III Baseball All-Region rosters came out this week as D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) both released their lists. A total of 13 United East baseball players were named to the All-Region IV D3baseball.com roster and 16 players named to the ABCA list.
In addition to being named All-Region, Keystone College’s Andy Rivas was also tabbed the Region IV Player of the Year by D3baseball.com. Rivas had an outstanding season this year as he led the conference in a number of statistical categories. He batted .441 with 13 home runs and 62 RBI. Rivas posted a slugging percentage of .838 and an OPS of 1.353. The senior catcher received First Team All-United East honors and was named the United East Conference Tournament MVP.
