LATHAM, N.Y. - Two United East baseball programs are receiving votes in D3baseball.com’s National Preseason Poll. Keystone College sits just outside the top-25 as they received 40 votes while Penn State Harrisburg is receiving five votes.

Both teams turned in solid performances last season as both squads won their conference championships and earned a bid into the NCAA Tournament.

The Giants continued its dominance in the CSAC, collecting its 18th consecutive title. Posting a final record of 30-14, Keystone fell in just one of its 18 conference contests going undefeated in the CSAC’s double-elimination Championship. Eleven players were selected to the All-Conference teams while Justin Mann was tabbed the conference’s Rookie of the Year.

The Lions are also on a mini streak as the team defeated Penn College to claim its third-straight United East title. The squad finished with a record of 24-13, posting a record of 19-2 in conference. In the NCAA Championship, the Lions picked up a victory in a best-of-five series against 2022 National Champions, Salisbury University. Nine Lions earned spots on All-Conference teams while first year Carlos Irizarry was named the conference’s Rookie of the Year.

Keystone kicks off their 2024 season on February 29 as they square off in a doubleheader with Bridgwater College and Hanover College in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Harrisburg will get to the jump earlier as they host Clarkson University for a two-game tilt on February 18.
