United East Athletes of the Week - November 5, 2024

LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for November 5, 2024.  Today will include Athletes of the Week for Men’s Golf. 

These will be the final awards for Men’s Golf during this calendar year as the teams will now pause for the winter months before beginning again in March 2025.

This week’s selections included contests from Monday, October 28 through Sunday, November 3.  A total of 1 student-athletes were recognized for their performances.

  • Player of the Week

    Gavin Fegley / So / Penn State Harrisburg / Liverpool, Pa. / Greenwood HS

    Gavin Fegley finished atop the leaderboard at the Lancaster Bible Invitational with a +9 (153) to secure the individual title over 49 other competitors. 

    This is the first Player of the week award for Fegley, who was the 2024 United East Rookie of the Year and earned a First Team All-Conference award in his first collegiate season.
