Gallaudet saw four Bison collect All-Region honors including Hannah Wetzel, Eric Gregory, Midajah Davis and Oceana Brown.

Hannah Wetzel collected a trio of All-Region accolades including one in the high jump, the long jump and the triple jump. Wetzel leaped a height of 1.70m in the South Regional last weekend to not only claim an All-Region nod, but also a ticket to the NCAA Championships. Two weekends ago at the United East Championships, the senior placed her highest mark in the triple jump with a distance of 11.50 meters. Her top mark in the long jump came at the VMI Invite as she leaped a conference leading 5.36 meters.

Gregory continued to show his dominance on the track, posting All-Region marks in three different events. The seniors top showing was in the 200 meter at the VMI Invite. There, he clocked a 21.55 which also earned him a spot at the NCAA Championships. In the 60m, Gregory’s fastest time of 6.89 came at the Joe LaRocco Invite and he’d round out his trio of awards with a 400 meter time of 48.85 (both topping the conference).

Joining Gregory on the track was United East Women’s Indoor Rookie of the Year, Oceana Brown who used a time of 25.57 in the 200-meter to garner All-Region honors. Rounding out the Bison foursome was Midajah Davis, who tossed the shot put 12.89 meters.

Penn State Harrisburg saw two members collect All-Region honors. Leah Gray earned a spot in the 60 meter dash, posting a conference-leading time of 7.76. Joining her from the Lions was Comlan Acolitse, whose throw of 15.94 meters in the weight throw was good enough for All-Region.

Ty Tindal from St. Mary’s College of Maryland was the final recipient of All-Region honors. The Men’s Indoor Rookie of the Year clocked a 6.98 in the 60 meter dash at the United East Championships.
