LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East Conference has announced its 2024 Baseball - Volt Division All-Conference Teams. The All-Conference Teams are made up of thirteen student-athletes on each team with two separate All-Conference teams for this season. Four major awards have been handed out including Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
All six Volt Division institutions that sponsor Baseball were represented across the two All-Conference teams and major awards. Penn State Harrisburg led the way with ten individuals named All-Conference after going undefeated in league play and winning the regular season championship. Harrisburg also had Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
Penn State Abington and Lancaster Bible College were represented by five members on the All-Conference teams, respectively. Penn College had three members on the All-Conference teams, including the Rookie of the Year.
Penn State Berks was represented by two members on the All-Conference teams, while St. Mary’s College of Maryland had one member on the team.

Coach of the Year - Ryan Bown (Penn State Harrisburg)
Carlos Irizarry (So. / Chantilly, Va.) has been named the 2024 United East Player of the Year - Volt Division after hitting .390 in league play with 18 RBI, 4 2B, 2 HR, 11 walks, and 28 total bases over 15 games. During the season, Irizarry hit .353 and set new career-highs with 9 doubles, 7 home runs, 53 RBI, 11 walks and stole 7 bases while only being caught once. Within conference games, Irizarry had a .683 Slugging Percentage; good for eighth in the league while posting a 1.209 OPS, tied for 6th-best in the United East. Nationally, Irizarry ranks 37th in NCAA Division III Baseball with 53 RBI. Irizarry was named the Volt Division Player of the Week for the week of April 15. In 2023, Irizarry was the United East Rookie of the Year, a First Team All-Conference member, and named Third Team All-Region.
Josh Berzonski (So. / Glenville, Pa.) has been named the 2024 United East Pitcher of the Year - Volt Division after leading the Harrisburg pitching staff to an undefeated 15-0 season in Volt Division play. This season, Berzonski led the United East in: ERA with a 1.24 mark, Opposing Batting Average with opponents hitting .163 against him, only allowing 25 hits, allowing 7 runs, and 6 of those runs being earned. Nationally, Berzonski is 4th in the country with a 1.24 ERA, 4th in the country for WHIP (Walks and Hits per Innings Pitched) with 0.80, and 6th in the country allowing 5.15 Hits Allowed per Nine Innings. This season, Berzonski was named Volt Division Pitcher of the week three times and in 2023, Berzonski was a First Team All-Conference honoree, an All-Region selection from d3Baseball.com and an All-Region selection from the ABCA/Rawlings.
Dallas Griess (So. / Williamsport, Pa.) has been named the 2024 United East Rookie of the Year - Volt Division after hitting .457 on the season. Griess fielded .986 in the outfield and was a spark at the top of the lineup for the Wildcats all season. On the season, Griess led the United East with a .673 Slugging Percentage, was second with 4 triples, and was sixth with a 1.123 OPS (On Base + Slugging Percentage).
Ryan Bown led the Penn State Harrisburg Nittany lions to an undefeated 15-0 record in the Volt Division and a #1 regional ranking throughout the spring season. Ten individuals were named All-Conference in 2024, including the Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively.
