LANDOVER, Md. - St. Mary’s College of Maryland topped the team scores at the 2025 United East Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the Prince George’s Sports Complex. This marks the first team title for the Seahawks in this sport whiel competing in the United East.

The Seahawks saw success across multiple events at the meet, earning the gold medal in eight different events. They dominated the short and mid distances winning the 60m, 60m hurdle, 200m, 400m, 800m while also picking up wins in both the DMR and the 4x400. Zach Kralec earned top points in the pole vault as well.
Lancaster Bible’s David Helm picked up a trio of golds as he took first in the mile, 3K and 5K. His efforts earned him both the Track Athlete of the Year award and the Rookie of the Year.
Penn State Harrisburg saw success in the jumping pits, especially from Jonathon Luo who won the triple jump and took third in the long jump. Luo would earn the title of Field Athlete of the Year. In addition, Harrisburg’s Head Coach Ryan Hart was named the United East Coach of the Year.
