LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East saw 20 women's basketball players earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors. Players from Cairn University, Cedar Crest College, Gallaudet University, Lancaster Bible College, Penn College, Penn State Abington, Penn State Harrisburg, Penn State Brandywine and Wilson College all had players awarded with this distinction.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athlete for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The 20 student-athletes named is nine more than earned the honor in 2023-24.
Student-athletes selected to the Academic All-District women's basketball team must be at least a sophomore or above, maintain a 3.50 GPA or higher and have competed in 70% of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores.
