LATHAM, N.Y. - Andy Rivas from the Keystone College baseball (13-5, 3-1 UEC) team has been named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week for his week ending on March 30, 2025. Rivas becomes the third United East player this season to earn the honor and the second from the Keystone program (Hunter Rauch from KEY and Brendan Henn from PSH).

Andy Rivas had a phenomenal outing as he finished the week going 11-for-14 from the dish while driving in 11 runs. The righty amassed three hits in both of the midweek non-conference games before piling up five more hits in a twinbill against conference-foe Penn State Abington. Rivas also piled up five doubles and a pair of dingers in the process. Currently, Rivas’ batting average ranks third in the nation (.532), his doubles-per-game ranks first (0.86) and his slugging ranks second (1.043), His efforts led to a United East Player of the Week nod.
The Giants took down defending National Champions, Misericordia, yesterday and turn their sites to Penn College for a midweek conference tilt today.
