KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three United East women’s soccer teams earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (USC) for their performance in the classroom during the 2024 season. Penn State Harrisburg, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Penn College all earned the distinction.

To earn the award, a team must have posted a combined GPA of a 3.0 or higher across the 2024-25 academic year. The Seahawks garnered a GPA of 3.59, the Nittany Lions a 3.46 and the Wildcats a 3.37.

All three teams were just as successful on the pitch this season as they all finished in a tie for the top record of the league (7-0-1).
