LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for February 10, 2026. Today will include Players of the Week from Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field.
This week’s selections included contests through Sunday, February 8. A total of four student-athletes from two different member institutions were recognized for their performances.
Women’s Indoor Track & Field
Field Athlete of the Week
Jillian Zukley / JR / St. Mary's College of Maryland / Severna Park, Md. / Severna Park
Jillian Zukley broke the weight throw record for the second time this season as Zukley threw a personal record 15.31m (first in conference, sixth in Mid-Atlantic) for second place at the Scarlet Knights Open hosted by Rutgers University, adding 0.20m to her previous school record of 15.11m set at the Christopher Newport University Holiday Open on Dec. 6, 2025. Zukley also finished seventh in the shot put with 11.04m. At the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by Ursinus, Zukley placed 12th in the shot put with 10.95m.
This is Zukley's second weekly award of the season and her sixth of her career (12/09/25, 02/18/25, 02/04/25, 01/21/25, 01/16/24).
Track Athlete of the Week
Savannah Owens / Senior / St. Mary's College of Maryland / Frederick, Md. / Gov. Thomas Johnson
For the fourth time this season and the second weekend in a row, Savannah Owens broke the 400m dash school record. This time, Owens clocked a personal record 59.59 (first in conference, eighth in Mid-Atlantic) at the Scarlet Knights Open hosted by Rutgers University for 10th place, clipping her previous mark of 1:01.46 from the Patriot Games on Jan. 31. She also led off the seventh-place 4x400m relay which posted a time of 4:21.59 (first in conference, 13th in MId-Atlantic). Owens also went 29th in the 60m dash with a personal record of 8.18 (first in conference, 29th in Mid-Atlantic).
This is Owens' third career weekly accolade (02/03/26, 12/09/25).

Track Athlete of the Week
Jake Robey / JR / St. Mary's College of Maryland / Kensington, Md. / Georgetown Prep
Jake Robey broke the four-year old 800m run school record, clocking a personal record of 2:01.83 (first in conference) for 20th overall at the Scarlet Knights Open hosted by Rutgers University. Robey surpassed the previous mark of 2:02.99 set by Will Christophel '24 on Feb. 5, 2022 at the Frank Colden Invitational. Robey also placed 21st in the mile with a season-best 4:59.77 at the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by Ursinus.
This is Robey's first weekly accolade of his career.
Field Athlete of the Week
Walter Douglas / SR / Gallaudet University / Sanford, Fla.
Gallaudet University men's indoor track and field senior Walter Douglas (Sanford, Fla.) broke his own indoor school record in the long jump event last Saturday at the Frank Colden Invitational at Floy Lewis Bakes Fieldhouse on the Ursinus College campus. Douglas leaped 6.78 meters (22 feet, 3 inches) on his sixth and final jump to finish second overall in the event. Douglas' previous school record mark was 6.68 meters (21 feet, 11 inches) set back on Feb. 25, 2025, at the Joe LaRocco Invitational hosted by Roanoke College.
This is the first indoor track and field Athlete of the Week award for Douglas this year and third of his career (01/30/24, 12/12/23)
