LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East conference has announced its Athletes of the Week for March 30, 2026. Today will include Players of the Week from women's flag football, men's volleyball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, baseball and softball awards.
This week’s selections included contests through Sunday, March 29. A total of 12 student-athletes from seven different member institutions were recognized for their performances.
Men’s Volleyball
Offensive Player of the Week
Kevin Bryant / JR / Lancaster Bible College / York, Pa. / York Suburban
Bryant controlled the middle of the court all week as he only registered a single hitting error acorss 10 sets played. The junior collected 10 kills in the week opening win against Gallaudet and followed that with an eight kill performance against Misericordia. The middle concluded the week with a nine kill outing in a win over Neumann on Saturday. Bryant finished the week hitting .743 while also picking up eight digs.
This is Bryant's fourth career United East weekly accolade (02/16/26 (D), 02/16/26 (O), 01/19/26).
Defensive Player of the Week
Jacob McCoy / SR / Wilson College / York, Pa. / Spring Grove
McCoy led the defense up front as the Phoenix went unbeaten on the week with three sweeps over conference competition. He was solid defensively with 3.67 blocks per match with three each against Cairn and Valley Forge before stuffing five attempts by Pratt to close the week. Offensively he totaled 29 kills at a highly efficient rate with a .590 hitting percentage with only three errors in 44 attempts. McCoy is second in the nation in hitting percentage on the season with a success rate of .456. He's also a main reason that the Phoenix are seventh nationally and first in the conference in opponent hitting percentage at .144.
This is McCoy's first United East weekly accoalde of the season and his second of his career (03/24/25).
Women's Flag Football
Offensive Player of the Week
Gianna Visco / SO / Gallaudet University / Riverside, Calif.
Gallaudet sophomore quarterback Gianna Visco completed 49 of 69 passes for 507 yards and five touchdowns through the air and added 127 yards on the ground and two rushing touchdowns as the Bison remained perfect (6-0) on the season. In the 34-20 win over previously unbeaten Penn State Harrisburg, Visco completed 26 of 34 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns and added 73 rushing yards on 19 carries and a score. Visco led the offense once again in a 19-7 win over Cairn as she completed 23 of 35 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns and added 54 yards on the ground on 15 carries and found the end zone once. Visco had a hand in every score for the Bison against the Highlanders.
This is Visco's first ever United East weekly accolade in women's flag football.
Defensive Player of the Week
Citrine Lummer / SO / Gallaudet University / Frederick, Md.
Gallaudet University sophomore wide receiver Citrine Lummer tallied 14 tackles and one interception for the Bison, who went 2-0 at home against two top teams in the United East. Lummer on offense hauled in 22 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns as the Bison remained perfect (6-0) on the season.In the 34-20 win over previously unbeaten Penn State Harrisburg, Lummer led the team with eight tackles and one interception. On offense she made 13 receptions for 158 yards and two touchdowns. Later in the day in a 19-7 win at home over Cairn University, Lummer once again led the team on defense with six tackles which included one tackle for loss. The sophomore wideout totaled nine receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown on offense.
This is Lummer's first ever United East weekly accolade in women's flag football.
Baseball
Player of the Week
Donato Incollingo / JR / Penn State Abington / Huntigdon Valley, Pa. / Lower Moreland
In a 5-1 week for the Nittany Lions, including a 3-0 mark in conference play, junior Donato Incollingo batted .524 (11-21) to go along with nine runs, 11 RBI, five doubles and one home run. Incollingo had a hit in all six games, including multiple hits in the final four games of the week. He highlighted the week with a 3-for-4 performance in game two of a doubleheader against Cairn. Incollingo connected on his fifth home run of the season with a third-inning grand slam and finished the game with a career-high six RBI. His home run marked the 18th of his career as he moved into fifth place in the program's all-time home run list. With his 11 RBI on the week, he is now four RBI from becoming the seventh player in program history to reach 100 career RBI. Furthermore, Incollingo collected his 100th career hit in the team's win at Delaware Valley University.
This is Incollingo's first ever United East weekly accolade.
Pitcher of the Week
Nick Benson / SR / Penn State Abington / Philadelphia, Pa. / Father Judge
Senior Nick Benson went 2-0 this past week in two starts. He started the week with a 5-1 victory at Penn State Brandywine in a United East contest. He went six innings allowing just one unearned run and scattered six hits. Benson finished the game with 10 strikeouts tying his season-high. Later in the week, Benson got the win over Cairn University as he went four innings in a seven-inning mercy-rule game. He fanned eight batters and allowed one earned run in his outing. For the week, he posted a 0.90 earned run average.
This is Benson's first ever United East weekly accolade.
Softball
Pitcher of the Week
Maddison Atkins / SR / Lancaster Bible College / Madisonville, Tenn. / Sequoyah
Atkins was dealing across her two appearances in the circle, picking up complete game wins in both instances. The senior started the week with a win over Franklin & Marshall where she scattered seven hits across 7.0 innings of work. She backed that up with a win over Gallaudet on the weekend where she allowed the Bison just a single hit while striking out six. Atkins picked up her 300th career strikeout over the stint while maintaining an ERA of 0.00.
This is Atkins first time earning a weekly award in a Charger uniform but she did accrue one on 04/09/24 when she played for Clarks Summit University.
Player of the Week
Rebekah Hoover / FY / Lancaster Bible College / Bowmansville, Pa. / Garden Spot
Hoover was seeing the ball all week as her offense helped the Chargers go 3-1 on the week. The first year player went 11-for-16 (.688) across all four contests, picking up multiple hits in each one. She'd also register a double in every game and a triple in the first of a twinbill against Gallaudet. In the second game agaisnt Gallaudet, she went 4-for-4 with five RBI, up her total to eight on the week. She'd also cross home plate herself eight times. Over the course of the week, she'd finish slashing .688/1.063/.706.
This is Hoover's first ever United East weekly accolade.
Women’s Lacrosse
Offensive Player of the Week
Kylah Demarest / SR / Cedar Crest College / Vernon, N.J. / Vernon Township
Demarest collected 11 points on 10 goals and one assist in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. She began the week with two goals and one assist to go along with two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a loss to Eastern. Demarest then turned around and had eight goals, including her 100th career goal in a 12-4 win over Mount Aloysius. She also had three ground balls, two caused turnovers, and five draw controls.

Defensive Player of the Week
Sadie Fike / JR / Wilson College / McClure, Pa. / Mifflin County
Fike was all over the field as the Phoenix produced a 1-2 record on the week. The junior caused eight turnovers across the three game stint whiel also scooping eight groundballs. Her eight groundballs against Mount Aloysius was a career-high for her. She'd also tack on three goals and an assist.

Men’s Lacrosse
Offensive Player of the Week
Cole Heffler / SR / Cairn University / Eldersburg, Md. / Central Maryland Christian
Heffler fueled the Highlander offense to a 2-0 record this week, recording 6 goals in Cairn's win over Purchase and another 5 goals and 3 assists in the Highlander's victory over La Roche.
This is Heffler's first ever United East weekly accolade.
Defensive Player of the Week
Joe Szymanski / SR / St. Mary's College of Maryland / Easton, Md. / Easton
Joe Szymanski collected 11 ground balls and three caused turnovers to pace the Seahawk defense. At Southern Virginia, Szymanski scored his second goal as a Seahawk while leading the defense with six ground balls and one caused turnover. He then scooped up five ground balls and caused two turnovers at Penn College, including helping to limit the Wildcats to just five shots and no goals in the fourth quarter.
This is Szymanski's second weekly accolade of the season and the third of his career (03/16/26, 03/10/25)
