LATHAM, N.Y. – St. Mary's College of Maryland won its first-ever United East Men's Outdoor Conference Championship, winning 10 of the 20 events. The Championship was hosted by Keystone College.

The Seahawks racked up 240 points in championship having 17 athletes place in the top three of events. Solomon David was a standout in field events, winning the High Jump and Triple jump and he also took fifth in long jump. He was named United East Field Athlete of the Year and United Rookie of the Year for his efforts. In addition, head coach Reava Potter was named United East Coach of the Year.

Penn State Harrisburg took second place as team in the championship, finishing with 212 points. The Lions were strong in track events, sweeping the top three spots in 100-meter dash.

Lancaster Bible finished third overall at the championship scoring 164 points. The Chargers were led by David Helms who won the 10,000 meters and the 1,500 meters while also finishing in the top three in the 5,000 meters and 800 meters. Helms was named United East Track Athlete of the Year for his performance at the championship.

Gallaudet took fourth at the championship with a score of 44 and Penn State Abington finished in fifth with a score of 37. The University of Valley Forge, Keystone College and Carlow University rounded out the scoring.
