United East Announces Men's Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference Honors and Major Award Winners

LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East has announced its 2026 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners. The three All-Conference teams are each made up of the top three finishers from 20 events held at the conference championship. The conference also awarded its Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and its Coach of the Year for the 2025-26 season.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field Field Athlete of the Year: Solomon David, St. Mary's College of Maryland
Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Year: Solomon David, St. Mary's College of Maryland
Men's Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year: Reava Potter, St. Mary's College of Maryland

United East Track Athlete of the Year David Helms turned in an outstanding performance at the championship. He claimed victories in both the 10,000-meter and 1,500-meter races while also recording top three finishes in the 5,000 meters and 800 meters.

Solomon David put together an impressive showing in the field events, capturing conference titles in the high jump and triple jump while also placing fifth in the long jump. His efforts earned him recognition as United East Field Athlete of the Year and United East Rookie of the Year.

Reava Potter received United East Coach of the Year honors after leading the Seahawks to a conference title.
