Two Programs & Seven Players Collect IWLCA Academic Accolades

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The United East saw seven individual women’s lacrosse players named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday. Two United East programs were recognized as been Academic Honor Squads as well.

 The IWLCA honored 964 student-athletes from 173 institutions across NCAA Division III. To qualify for the team, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and hold a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.  A total of 290 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as garnered Academic Honor Squad honors, which were given to teams that posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

Bryn Athyn College and St. Mary’s College of Maryland were both named Academic Honor Squads. The following student-athletes were tabbed to the Academic Honor Roll:
