2024 Women's Tennis Championship Field Set

LATHAM, N.Y. - The 2024 United East Women’s Tennis field is set, as the League schedule came to a close on Saturday afternoon.

Cairn University earned the No. 1 seed in the Skye Division after a 9-0 victory over Cedar Crest on Saturday to finish the season 4-0 and collect the regular season divisional title. 
 
Penn State Harrisburg earned the No. 1 seed in the Volt Division after the results on Saturday to finish the season 5-0 and to win the regular season divisional title.
 
Notre Dame of Maryland University and St. Mary’s College of Maryland earned the No. 2 seeds in the Skye and Volt Divisions, respectively.  Notre Dame earned the No. 2 seed in the Skye with a 3-1 record after a 6-3 victory over Bryn Athyn College this afternoon.  St. Mary’s College of Maryland is the No. 2 seed in the Volt after this afternoon’s win over Penn State Berks to finish the conference regular season with a 4-1 league record.  The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in each division will host the divisional semifinals on Tuesday, April 23 at campus sites.
 
In the Skye Division, Bryn Athyn has earned the No. 3 seed after this afternoon’s match and will travel to Notre Dame in a rematch of the season-finale: this time in the Skye semifinals.  Clarks Summit University has earned the No. 4 seed and will travel to No. 1 seed Cairn University in the Skye Division semifinal round.  Skye Division finals will be held at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, April 27.
 
On the Volt side, Lancaster Bible College has earned the No. 3 seed with a 5-4 victory over Penn State Abington on Saturday afternoon and will travel to No. 2 seed St. Mary’s in the Volt Division semi-finals.  Penn State Abington has earned the No. 4 seed with this afternoon’s result and will travel to No. 1 seed Penn State Harrisburg on Tuesday. Volt Division finals will be held at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, April 27. 
 
Divisional champions will meet in the 2024 United East Women’s Tennis Championship on Saturday, May 4 hosted at the Hershey Racquet Club in Hershey, Pa. The winner of the championship match will be named United East Champion and awarded the Automatic Qualifier to the 2024 NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Tournament.
