LATHAM, N.Y. - The United East has announced its 2026 Women’s Tennis All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners. The three All-Conference teams are each made up of six singles players and three doubles teams, regardless of flight. The conference also awarded its Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and its Coach of the Year for the 2025-26 season.
Major Award Winners
Player of the Year – Lily Ganjbaksh (St. Mary’s College of Maryland)
Rookie of the Year - Lily Ganjbaksh (St. Mary’s College of Maryland)
Coach of the Year – Eric Heisler (St. Mary’s College of Maryland)
Lily Ganjbaksh was outstanding in her first collegiate season, going 9-0 in conference single play this season in the No. 1 position. In addition, Ganjbaksh teamed with Addyson Harden in doubles play, going 9-0 doubles play out of the No. 1 position. She was also impressive in nonconference play, going 5-1 against a strong set of regional opponents.
Eric Heisler led the Seahawks back to the top of the conference, guiding St. Mary’s College of Maryland to their first conference title since 2023. The Seahawks went 9-0 in conference play and 14-4 overall this season. Heisler helped six players earn all-conference singles honors and three doubles teams earn all-conference awards.
