LATHAM, N.Y. – The 2025 United East Men’s Soccer Championship semifinals are set after a weekend of decisive quarterfinal action. No. 1 St. Mary’s College of Maryland, No. 2 Penn State Harrisburg, No. 3 Penn State Abington, and No. 5 Penn College each advanced with wins over their respective opponents, setting up a pair of intriguing semifinal matchups.

The semifinals will commence on Wednesday. Find the matchups below:

No. 1 St. Mary’s College of Maryland Def. No. 9 Penn State Berks, 5–0 (Boxscore)

The top-seeded Seahawks put on an offensive show in their 5–0 quarterfinal win over No. 9 Penn State Berks. St. Mary’s struck early and often, building a 4–0 lead by halftime and never looking back. The Seahawks’ dynamic attack overwhelmed the Berks defense, with five different players finding the back of the net.

Defensively, St. Mary’s was just as dominant, holding Berks without a shot on goal for much of the match to preserve the clean sheet. With the victory, the Seahawks advance to the semifinals in search of another conference crown.
 

No. 3 Penn State Abington Def. No. 6 Lancaster Bible College, 4–0 (Boxscore)

Penn State Abington earned a decisive 4–0 victory over No. 6 Lancaster Bible to move on in postseason play. The Lions scored their first goal of the match in the 22nd minute by Laurence Narcisi off an assist from Israel Gonzalez. Abington's offensive momentum was kicked up a notch in the second frame as Abington added three more to the sheet while keeping the Chargers off the scoreboard.

Lancaster Bible's goalie, Micah Dressler, notched 4 saves for the Chargers. Hugh Nungessor and Mohamed Konneh each scored for the Lions, with Laurence Narcisi logging two himself.
 

No. 5 Penn College Def. No. 4 Notre Dame (Md.), 1–0 (Boxscore)

Penn College punched its ticket to the semifinals with a gritty 1–0 win over No. 4 Notre Dame of Maryland. The match remained deadlocked through the first half before the Wildcats broke through in the second on a penalty kick by Scott Goldfeder that proved to be the difference.

Notre Dame of Maryland's keeper, Mateo Gularte, logged 4 saves in goal. Penn College led the way in shots, 12 to Notre Dame's 2.


No. 2 Penn State Harrisburg Def. No. 7 Cairn, 2–1 (OT) (Boxscore)
The Harrisburg Lions advanced to the United East semifinals after a thrilling 2–1 overtime win over the Cairn University Highlanders. Cairn struck first in the 4th minute when Alijah Miller found the back of the net, giving the Highlanders an early lead. Harrisburg responded back in the 33rd minute to tie the game at 1–1 with a penalty kick goal from Malachi Abma. The two teams remained tied through the second half, forcing the overtime. The Lions' Byron Hines scored off an assist from Kristopher Lage, securing their semifinal berth.

Cairn's keeper, Xander Jakeway, tallied 4 saves. Harrisburg outshot the Highlanders 10 to 5.
