Harrisburg Women's Tennis Bows Out of NCAA Championship

LEXINGTON, Va.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s tennis team fell, 4-0, to Swarthmore University Friday afternoon in the Opening Round of the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship. The Lions conclude the season with a record of 15-8 and the title of United East Champions.

Swarthmore went up early as they collected a doubles win at third due to forfeit. They then earned the team doubles point with a win in the second flight. A second team point was earned at sixth due to forfeit and the Garnett picked up their third point with a sweep win at fifth. The final, clinching point came at fourth singles, earning the win.

Allison Wootton and Breanna DeSantis both took a game in each set but their matches at first and second singles, respectively, went unfinished.
