Brandywine Collects Men's Golf Academic Award

NORMAN, Okla. - Penn State Brandywine was named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) PLATFORM Academic Award recipient for the 2024-25 season. Maintaining a team GPA of at least a 3.0, the Nittany Lions were just one of 28 Division III teams to earn the distinction.

It was a solid year for Brandywine as they competed in the United East and Division III for the first time in department history. The Nittany Lions placed seventh in the Conference Championship with two players collecting All-Conference honors. Eric Angle placed 5th (+15) to earn a spot on the All-Conference First Team while Matt Cavanaugh tied for 19th (+28) to earn him a Third Team nod.
