Women's Lacrosse 4/22/2026 8:32:00 PM Seahawks and Phoenix Set to Meet in Women's Lacrosse Final LATHAM, N.Y. - The finals are set after Saturday’s semifinal matches in the 2026 United East Women’s Lacrosse Championships. #2 Wilson College def. #2 Cedar Crest College, 14-7 - Box Score Tied at 4-4 at the half, Wilson College outpaced the Falcons with six goals in the third period and four in the fourth while limiting the Falcons to three second half goals to reach the Conference Final on Saturday. Cedar Crest jumped out to an early lead just 20 seconds after the opening draw with a goal by Kadee Schrader. Wilson responded with the equalizer from Sadie Fike at 6:22 before the Falcons tacked on two more goals from Trinity Burk and Kylah Demarest to lead 3-1 after the first quarter. Wilson flipped the script in the second frame with a 3-1 advantage with two goals from Paige Ney and one from Ellisa Gamby-Mickey. Fike led the Phoenix offense with four goals while Ney and Gamby-Mickey also scored hat-tricks. Kaelyn Goff collected seven saves to earn the win in net. Trinity Burke and Audra Leiter paced the Falcons with two goals and Izzy Feddor collected 11 saves. #1 St. Mary’s College (Md.) vs. #4 Notre Dame of Maryland, 26-5 - Box Score St. Mary's College (Md.) dominated the first quarter of their match up with Notre Dame of Maryland University, striking 12 times in the openning frame. The Seahawks remained in control throughout the contest, netting four goals in the second quarter and 10 goals in the second half to punch their ticket to the Conference Finals. Hope Harrison and Sanne Elling opened the scoring, each finding the back of the next in the opening two minutes. After an NDMU goal by Yasmine Rode, St. Mary's (Md.) went on a 10-0 run to hold a 12-2 advantage. Four more second quarter goals, pushed the advantage to 12 at the half. The Seahawks defense held the Gators to one goal in the second half, while thier offense added 10 more, securing the 26-5 victory. St. Mary's (Md.) was led by Sarah Fitter who scored four goals and added four assist. Gina Jaffurs and Elling also added four goals in the victory. The Gators were led by Leah Acri who scored twice and Leah Hasberry who made eight saves. Start time for Saturday’s final is at 1:00 PM on the campus of St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
