KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Five United East men’s basketball teams and 24 men’s basketball players earned Academic Honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for their success during the 2024-25 season.

Cairn University, Gallaudet University, Penn State Harrisburg, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and University of Valley Forge all earned the Team Academic Excellence Award which is for any team who earns a team GPA of 3.0 or higher for the season.
The 24 NABC Honors Court student-athletes earned the status by meeting the following criteria:
1. Academically a junior, senior or graduate student and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the academic year.
3. Member of a four-year institution with at least one active NABC-member coach.
